Celebrity interior designers and TV hosts Nate Berkus and husband Jeremiah Brent have sold their West Village townhouse in an off market deal for $13.5 million, Gimme Shelter has learned.
The gut-renovated townhouse, which has been featured in Architectural Digest, is at 66 Charles St.
The seller’s broker was Core Real Estate’s Emily Beare and the unidentified Westchester buyer’s broker was Spire Group’s Kiran Mummidichetty.
Berkus and Brent, who have two small children, Poppy and Oskar, bought the 1899 townhouse in 2019 for $9.75 million, according to property records.
The 18-foot-wide townhouse is 3,400 square feet. It sports four bedrooms and 4½ bedrooms, along with a backyard garden and rooftop.
A mix of old and new, it boasts an Italianite landmarked facade and an open, double-height parlor floor with a glass curtain wall.
There’s also a double-height white oak book case which had to be bolted to an exterior wall, along with a full-floor main bedroom, a wine cellar, a sweeping staircase and a roof garden.
