Brooklyn Sales Market Hits Record High

Median sales prices in Brooklyn climbed to $575,000 setting an all-time record during the second quarter.
In June, vacancy rates dropped to its lowest in five years to 1.64 percent.
The average sales prices rose 16.6 percent to $783,296 versus $671,964 same time last year.
The luxury market saw median sales rise above $2 million for the first time to $2.14 million, compared to $1.65 million same time last year.
There were 2,086 sales, a 98% increase in sales over last year, while inventory fell 5.3 percent.
Days on market saw a decrease as well to 110 days.
