New York City has launched a neighborhood-specific website to help residents learn more about what's happening locally.

The site, neighborhoods.nyc, went online Wednesday.

New Yorkers can search 400 specific locations like Forest Hills, Crown Heights and East Village.

They can learn about school closures, construction, transit alerts, leaking hydrants, restaurant grades and public events.

The information is available in 13 languages.
